Canberra Capitals A win, a loss, but still in fourth place!

The Canberra TransACT Capitals split their weekend road trip with a win against the AIS and a narrow defeat in Townsville in front of over 4,000 Fire fans.

But shock losses for both Sydney and Adelaide have left the TransACT Capitals still in fourth place. Breathing down Canberra’s throat are the two teams the TransACT Capitals must play on the road this weekend.

Saturday sees Canberra travel to Melbourne to take on the Bulleen Boomers who upset Sydney last weekend. The Boomers have a reputation for causing upsets and the TransACT Capitals will be sure not to take them lightly.

The game tips off at 7.30pm EDST

On Sunday the TransACT Capitals travel across town to take on the Dandenong Rangers, who also defeated Sydney last weekend. The return of Dandenong’s skipper Allie Douglas has seen the Rangers gain new strength and the TransACT Capitals will need to play at the top of their game to come away from Melbourne with two wins Sunday’s game tips off at 2pm EDST
