The Canberra TransACT Capitals have sealed the minor premiership last weekend with wins in Melbourne, but there was no talk of a dead rubber as the TransACT Capitals made easy work of the Adelaide Lightning 83-59 at the AIS Arena on Friday Night.

Canberra looked rock-solid as they played out the last game of the regular season and look primed for this weekend’s Semi Final game against the Townsville Fire at Tuggeranong Stadium on Saturday February 8.

The Semi Final berth for the TransACT Capitals puts them in the driver’s seat for their third championship in four seasons. Tickets for Saturday’s semi are selling fast and a sell out is expected.
