Canberra TransACT Capital Eleanor Sharp has decided to sit out the 2003/04 'Price Attack' WNBL Season due to her recurring battle with glandular fever. Sharp was struck down with the condition half way through Canberra's 2002/03 season and struggled to play in the finals series. After taking it easy through the off season, Eleanor is still struggling to reach an acceptable level of fitness for the gruelling WNBL season.

She will take up an Assistant Coaching role with the TransACT Capitals with a view to returning to 100% fitness and continuing her playing career with Canberra.
