With Canberra TransACT Capital Eleanor Sharp out for the 2003/04 ‘Price Attack’ WNBL Season due to illness, Head Coach Carrie Graf has pulled an eleventh hour recruiting coup with the signing of WNBL veteran, Kate Cohen.

Cohen, a veteran of 251 WNBL games, will suit up for Canberra in their season opener against the Perth Lynx at Southern Cross Stadium this Saturday night. She has played a majority of her career for Bulleen Melbourne and like many of her new TransACT Capitals team mates, is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Sport.

Renowned as a defensive specialist, Cohen will bring a hard nosed experienced edge to the already potent Canberra line up.
