Canberra Capitals TransACT Capitals take no prisoners in Russian!

The Canberra TransACT Capitals are off to a flying start at the FIBA World Cup for Women in Samara, Russia.
Tonight they annihilated African representatives Mambas de Mozambique 102 - 45.
A crowd of 1200 saw first hand why the Australian Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) is considered one of the best leagues in the world as the reigning back to back champions cruised to victory.

Lauren Jackson scored 26 points and pulled in 17 rebounds, Sarah Berry had 15 points, whilst Jo Hill and Kellie Abrams poured in 12 points each.

Tomorrow Canberra wil play French champions US Valenciennes Olympic at 7.30pm AEST
