The Canberra TransACT Capitals suffered their third loss in four games losing to the Townsville Fire 74 – 59 in Townsville last Saturday night. Jo Hill led the way for the TransACT Capitals with 13 points, with Kellie Abrams and Kate Cohen contributing 11 points each.
Despite the loss Canberra are still comfortably in third place after the Sydney Uni Flames lost both their games in Melbourne on the weekend.

The TransACT Capitals will be back at Southern Cross Stadium this weekend as they host the league leading Adelaide Lightning. Adelaide has dropped only one game this season and Canberra will be keen to prove they can win without star Lauren Jackson.
