Canberra TransACT Capitals forward Nerrida Cooper has again torn her Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and will be out of basketball for another 9 to 12 months. Cooper suffered an ACL tear in December 2002 and had undergone a long and successful rehabilitation.
In only her second game back on November 21, Cooper re-injured her left knee tearing the graft from her first surgery and damaging the cartilage.
Cooper will visit specialists on December 18 before undergoing surgery in January. Despite her run of bad luck, Nerrida is adamant about returning to play for the TransACT Capitals.
