The January 30 match against the Townsville Fire took on a new importance after Canberra’s horror road trip last weekend. The Fire has slipped ahead of the TransACT Caps into second place on the ‘Price Attack’ WNBL ladder, so the outcome of the January 30 game will impact on final placing’s before this season’s play-offs.

Hoop Camp is on!

The Canberra TransACT Capitals are running their fourth annual ‘Hoop Camp’ at Belconnen Basketball Stadium. The camp started today and runs till Thursday with some 80 young basketballers getting tips and coaching from Canberra Head Coach Carrie Graf and many of the TransACT Capitals stars.
